The Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education announced on December 16th that the budget for the Education Special Account has been finalized at 2.7971 trillion won, a substantial increase of 902 billion won compared to the previous year.
The increased funding will be used to support a wide range of educational initiatives, with a particular focus on student-centered learning, digital education, and inclusive education. Key areas of investment include:

Inclusive education: Efforts to create a more inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students, regardless of their abilities or backgrounds.
To ensure that these initiatives are implemented effectively, the education office has developed a comprehensive implementation plan that aligns with the curriculum and will provide timely support to schools.
