President Lee further promised government support for the industry, asserting, "We will actively support the development of the cultural industry, including esports, so that our players can continue to pursue their dreams and passion to the fullest."
Concluding his message, the President paid tribute to the runners-up, stating, "I respect T1's magnificent run and wholeheartedly cheer for the players who will continue to write new history and legends. I also send warm applause to the KT Rolster team, who finished as runners-up but delivered a wonderful match right up to the final fifth set."
Kang Hoon-sik, Chief of Staff to the President, also took to social media to celebrate, remarking, "We hoped, but Faker has gone beyond a legend to write a myth. Congratulations to both the team and Faker."
