[GLOBAL ECONOMIC TIMES] While the movie ‘Venom: The Last Dance’ (hereinafter referred to as ‘Venom 3’) topped the box office for two days in a row, ‘Ordinary Family’, which lost the throne, saw its daily audience drop to 10,000 units.
According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network for movie theater admissions on the 25th, 'Venom 3' mobilized 78,289 audiences the previous day, recording a cumulative attendance of 207,430.
The reservation rate is also close to 40%, ranking overwhelmingly first. ‘Venom 3’ is an action blockbuster in which Eddie and Venom (Tom Hardy), who are inseparable from each other, run toward the end of the terrible chaos that may be the last, amidst the worst crisis of becoming fugitives from their respective worlds.
Second place is ‘Ordinary Family’ (Director Heo Jin-ho). On the same day, 17,787 people watched, bringing the cumulative number of viewers to 382,452.
The film, starring Sol Kyeong-gu, Jang Dong-gun, Kim Hee-ae, and Su-hyeon, depicts four people living with their own beliefs, but when they see CCTV footage of children's crime scenes, everything falls apart. The break-even point was about 1.5 million, resulting in a crushing defeat at the box office.
Third place is ‘Love in a Big City’ (directed by Eonhee Lee). 10,862 viewers watched, bringing the cumulative number of viewers to 679,975. 4th place was ‘Amazon Hwalmyeongsu’ (director Kim Chang-ju), which was selected by 5,299 audiences, recording a cumulative audience of 12,024. ‘Veteran 2’ (directed by Ryu Seung-wan) ranked 5th with 4,701 viewers and a cumulative audience of 7,470,922.
