Madrid, Spain - Leganes pulled off a major upset on Sunday night, defeating FC Barcelona 1-0 at Camp Nou. Sergio Gonzalez's early header proved to be the difference, while goalkeeper Marko Dmitrovic made several crucial saves to preserve the clean sheet despite Barcelona dominating possession.
This result leaves Barcelona level on points with Atletico Madrid, who moved into second place with a 1-0 victory over Getafe thanks to Alexander Sorloth's header.
Real Madrid, meanwhile, missed the chance to temporarily top the table after drawing 3-3 at Rayo Vallecano. Fede Valverde, Jude Bellingham, and Rodrygo scored for Real Madrid, but Rayo Vallecano fought back twice to earn a point.
