BTS' Jin Releases Debut Solo Album "Happy"

Seoul, South Korea – Jin, a member of the global sensation BTS, has released his first solo album, titled "Happy." The album, which was released at 2 PM KST on November 15, features six tracks and marks a significant milestone in Jin's solo career.
In a statement released by his agency, Big Hit Music, Jin expressed his excitement about the album, saying, "I'm so happy to finally have my own solo album. I hope everyone who listens to it feels happy."
The album incorporates a strong band sound, a musical style that Jin has expressed admiration for. "I based this album on the band sound that I love," he said. "I hope you'll listen to it while imagining yourselves at a concert."
The album's title track, "Running Wild," along with other songs like "I'll Be There," "Another Level," "Until I Reach You," "Heart on the Window" (featuring Wendy), and "Longing" showcase Jin's versatility as an artist. Notably, "Longing" is a heartfelt fan song written by Jin himself, expressing his gratitude to BTS's fandom, ARMY.
Jin shared that he wrote "Longing" based on notes he took while serving in the military. "I wrote down my honest feelings about missing my fans and wanting to perform for them," he said. "I wanted to express my longing to return to them as soon as possible."
To celebrate the album's release, Jin will host a live broadcast titled "Jin Comeback Live: What is 'Happy'?" on Weverse at 2:30 PM KST. He will also hold a fan showcase, "Jin 'Happy' Special Stage," at Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul on November 16 and 17.
Jin collaborated with Gary Barlow of the British band Take That on the album. "I corrected my English pronunciation a lot while recording," Jin said. "American and British pronunciations are different, so I tried my best to get the correct pronunciation."
With the release of "Happy," Jin joins his BTS bandmates in pursuing solo projects while continuing to contribute to the group's overall success. Fans around the world are eagerly anticipating more music and content from Jin.
