[GLOBAL ECONOMIC TIMES]  Yoo Hae-ran, who has been showing consistent performance this season, broke her personal highest ranking in the women's golf world rankings.

Yoo Hae-ran ranked 6th in the women's golf world rankings announced on the 29th, up 3 places from the previous week.

The increase in ranking reflects the final 3rd place finish at the Maybank Championship of the LPGA Tour, which ended on the 27th.

At the time, Yoo Hae-ran was tied for the lead with Yin Luoning (China) and Gino Titikkun (Thailand) until the third round of the competition, but lost to the two players in the last four rounds and finished the competition in third place.

As a result, Yoo Hae-ran recorded the highest world ranking among Korean players.

Yoo Hae-ran, who was named LPGA Tour Rookie of the Year last year, lifted the trophy at the FM Championship last September following the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship in October of the same year.

This season, she showed consistent performance, reaching the top 10 12 times in 23 LPGA tour competitions.

Accordingly, Yoo Hae-ran, who succeeded in entering single digits in the world rankings for the first time in his life on the 24th of last month, further improved this ranking and broke his personal highest ranking.

She is currently ranked 2nd in the LPGA Tour CME Globe points ranking (2599.39) and 4th in Player of the Year Award points (115 points). The prize money ranking also ranked 5th overall.

Yoon Ina, who plays on the Korea Ladies Professional Golf (KLPGA) tour, also broke the highest personal world ranking.

Yoon Na, who tied for 5th place in the KLPGA Tour Deokshin EPC/Seoul Economic Classic, rose five places from Jeonju (33rd place) to rank 28th.

Ko Jin-young, who returned after two months through the Maybank Championship, finished the tournament in 67th place (even par, 288 strokes) and was unable to avoid a decline in the world rankings.

Ko Jin-young, who was ranked 6th in the world until last week and was the highest ranked Korean player, fell 3 places to 9th place. Yang Hee-young also fell one place to 11th place.

Kim Hyo-joo ranked 18th, up one place from the previous week.

Lydia Go (4th, New Zealand), who did not participate in the Maybank Championship, also dropped in ranking.
