TAEAN, South Chungcheong Province – As part of its preparations for the "Visit Taean Year 2025," Taean County is rolling out a unique initiative designed to draw tourists and highlight its scenic coastal beauty: the "Taean Beach Road Stamp Tour."

The special event, announced on May 20th, will run from June 1st to November 30th this year, targeting up to 1,000 participants. The tour aims to immerse visitors in the charm of Taean's famed beach roads, showcasing why the region is often dubbed the "City of Flowers and the Sea."

 
Unveiling Taean's Coastal Gems

Participants in the "Taean Beach Road Stamp Tour" will embark on a picturesque journey along six designated viewpoints situated on Taean's extensive coastline. These include:

Hagampo Observatory (Wonbuk-myeon)
Baengnipo Observatory (Sowon-myeon)
Taean Oil Spill Overcoming Memorial Hall (Sowon-myeon)
Daeharang Kkotgerang Bridge (Anmyeon-eup)
Duyeo Observatory (Anmyeon-eup)
Bangpo Observatory (Anmyeon-eup)
To complete the tour, visitors must take a 인증사진 (certification photo) at each of these six locations.

How to Participate and Claim Your Prize

After capturing the required photos, participants are instructed to upload them to their social media accounts. Crucially, each post must include the following hashtags: #NationalPark #TaeanCoastalExperienceCenter #VisitTaeanYear2025.

Once the photos are posted, participants need to visit the Taean Coastal Experience Center (57 Mongsanpo-gil, Nammyeon) to undergo a verification process. Upon successful verification, they will receive a special handkerchief on which they can collect all six unique stamps. The tour concludes once all stamps are collected.

A small commemorative gift awaits all those who successfully complete the tour. However, interested individuals should act promptly, as the stamp tour will conclude once all 1,000 commemorative handkerchiefs are distributed.

The Taean Coastal Experience Center operates daily, with the exception of Mondays. If a Monday falls on a public holiday, the center will be closed on the following weekday.

 
Enhancing the Experience
To enhance the overall visitor experience, Taean County, in collaboration with the Taean Coast National Park, plans to install dedicated photo zones and clear signposts along the beach roads. These additions are designed to make the tour more accessible and enjoyable for all participants.
