This year marks the 25th anniversary of the event, which features competitions, performances, and exhibitions directly involving elementary, middle, and high school students and other young people within the city. The festival comprises a total of eight programs, including a Korean Traditional Music Competition, a Creative Poetry and Favorite Poem Recitation Contest, a Youth Song Festival, a Video Competition, and a Classical Concert.

Additionally, the Song Festival finals and the comprehensive awards ceremony for the arts festival will take place on June 22nd, creating a meaningful occasion to celebrate the passion and talent of the participating youth.

The festival will conclude on June 24th with a special invitational theatrical performance for youth at the Samcheok Youth Training Center gymnasium, offering local young people an opportunity to experience and appreciate culture.

A city official stated, "This event serves as an important opportunity for youth to express themselves and grow through culture and art, as well as a significant occasion to expand the local artistic foundation." The official added, "We will continue to provide unwavering support through diverse cultural and artistic programs to enable future generations to shine within our community."
