Chungcheongnam-do Provincial Council Holds Appointment Ceremony and Meeting for '4th Term Legislative Monitors'

The 4th term legislative monitors of the Chungcheongnam-do Provincial Council, who will serve as a communication channel with residents, are officially beginning their activities.
The Chungcheongnam-do Provincial Council (Chairman Hong Seong-hyun) held the appointment ceremony and meeting for the 'Chungcheongnam-do Provincial Council 4th Term Legislative Monitors' on the 28th at the council meeting room.
The event proceeded with the awarding of appointment certificates to the 46 legislative monitors selected through public recruitment from the 7th to the 27th, followed by an explanation of operational plans and communication sessions by division. In addition, outstanding 3rd term legislative monitors were awarded citations from the Chairman.
The newly appointed legislative monitors were comprised of experts and residents from various fields, including professors, administrative agents, social workers, and students, considering region, gender, and expertise.
For their two-year term, they will undertake roles such as: ▲proposing various suggestions and opinions necessary for the provincial council ▲making recommendations related to the enactment, amendment, and abolition of autonomous legislation ▲reporting inconveniences experienced by residents and promoting legislative activities. Outstanding performers will receive citations from the provincial council chairman and a small incentive.
Chairman Hong Seong-hyun (Cheonan 1, People Power Party), who attended the meeting, encouraged active participation, stating, "I hope you will actively engage in reporting resident inconveniences, addressing local issues, and promoting legislative activities based on your love for your hometown and diverse experiences."
