Folk play experiences, treasure hunts, and busking performances at Bomun Lake Square
Diverse family-oriented games and Taekwondo performances at Gyeongju Expo Grand Park

The Gyeongbuk Culture & Tourism Corporation (President Kim Nam-il) announced that it will host a variety of Chuseok holiday events for three days from the 24th to the 26th around Bomun Lake Square and Gyeongju Expo Grand Park.

This event was prepared to provide special holiday memories to homecoming families and tourists visiting Gyeongju during the Chuseok holiday. A variety of programs that the whole family can enjoy together, including traditional games, hands-on experiences, and performances, will be operated.

Around Bomun Lake Square, diverse Chuseok experiential events will unfold for family-unit tourists to enjoy together. A traditional folk play experience zone will be operated on a regular basis, alongside an interactive treasure hunt.

In addition, hands-on programs to feel the Chuseok atmosphere, such as making traditional mood lamps, and various sub-events like writing slow postcards will be arranged. Along with these, diverse performance programs including magic shows will be showcased, providing abundant sights and entertainment to tourists visiting the Bomun Tourist Complex during the Chuseok holiday.

Gyeongju Expo Grand Park is operating "Chuseok Great Festival: Silla Play with Hwani & Woni!" along with admission discounts for the Chuseok holiday. Traditional games such as Yutnori, Tuho (arrow throwing), and jegichagi, along with Art Road experiences coloring traditional patterns, a "Mission Road" to complete missions across the park, and family-oriented games like collaborative moon-raising and speed stacking are prepared. Furthermore, diverse performances including Taekwondo performances will present abundant sights and entertainment to visitors.

Special performances will be held at 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM during the event period, showcasing various performances including Taekwondo performances by the Dokdo Love Sports Promotion Team of the Gyeongju City Sports Council, as well as flute and popera performances.

Additionally, from the 24th to the 27th, 3-generation families (including foreigners) will receive free admission, along with free admission benefits exclusively for individuals wearing Hanbok or traditional national costumes.
