Bangkok, Thailand – Minor Hotels has announced the grand opening of its latest property, NH Bangkok Asoke, slated for March 1, 2025. This addition marks the second NH Hotels & Resorts location in Bangkok, following the successful launch of NH Bangkok Sukhumvit Boulevard in October 2024, underscoring the brand’s strategic expansion in Thailand’s bustling capital.
Nestled in the heart of Asoke, just off Sukhumvit Road, the new hotel is poised to become a prime destination for both business and leisure travelers. Its strategic location offers unparalleled access to Bangkok’s key commercial, retail, and entertainment hubs, thanks to its proximity to the Asok BTS SkyTrain and Sukhumvit MRT stations. Notable attractions such as Terminal 21, the EM District, Siam, Ratchaprasong, and the recently developed One Bangkok are all easily accessible. For those seeking a touch of nature, Benjakitti Forest Park is nearby, and the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center is a short distance away. Additionally, the hotel’s location ensures convenient travel, with both of Bangkok’s international airports reachable within a 40-minute drive.
NH Bangkok Asoke will feature 95 contemporary and spacious rooms, each starting at 32 square meters. Designed with guest comfort in mind, the rooms boast floor-to-ceiling windows, modern furnishings, and a full suite of essential amenities. Guests can maintain their fitness routines at the on-site gym or unwind by the rooftop pool. Culinary delights await at the hotel’s all-day restaurant, which will serve a diverse menu of international, Mediterranean, and Thai cuisine. A poolside bar and lounge will also offer refreshing beverages and light snacks.
Dillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor Hotels and Group CEO of Minor International, expressed his enthusiasm for the brand’s growth in Bangkok, particularly with the city’s anticipated surge in tourism in 2025. “We are thrilled to extend our NH Hotels & Resorts presence with NH Bangkok Asoke, our seventh hotel in the city. We deeply value the trust the Narula family has placed in Minor Hotels, and we look forward to continuing our fruitful collaboration,” said Rajakarier.
Kirin Narula, Managing Director of Quality Inn, highlighted the seamless partnership with Minor Hotels. “Expanding our relationship with Minor Hotels to bring NH Bangkok Asoke to life was an obvious choice. Their extensive experience in hotel management and understanding of Bangkok’s hospitality landscape made this collaboration seamless,” Narula added. “We are excited to help make NH Hotels & Resorts the go-to option for budget-conscious travelers visiting the Thai capital.”
The launch of NH Bangkok Asoke is part of Minor Hotels’ broader strategy to expand the NH Hotels & Resorts brand across Asia. In 2024, the brand also launched NH Bentota Ceysands Resort in Sri Lanka, NH Maldives Kuda Rah Resort, and NH Boat Lagoon Phuket Resort in Thailand. With a global portfolio of over 230 hotels and resorts, including five properties in Sri Lanka, The Maldives, and Thailand, NH Hotels & Resorts continues to solidify its position as a leading hospitality brand in the region.
