The Cheonan City Volunteer Center conducted the ‘2025 Cultural Excursion for Outstanding Volunteers’ for 84 exemplary volunteers on the 3rd.
This cultural excursion was organized to boost the pride of volunteers and encourage their continued participation in volunteer activities.
On this day, outstanding volunteers who have participated in over 100 hours of volunteer work within the recent three years visited the Jeonju Hanok Village, Gyeonggijeon Shrine, Jeondong Cathedral, and Jeonju Arboretum, where they participated in various activities such as trying on Hanbok (traditional Korean clothing).
Cheonan Mayor Park Sang-don stated, “The city is operating various recognition and reward systems, such as cultural excursions, to enhance the pride of volunteers. Many events are scheduled to be held this year, including the Cheonan K-Culture Expo and the Chungcheongnam-do Provincial Sports Festival, so we ask for your great interest and active participation.”
