Seoul Studio Apartment Rents and Deposits Dip Slightly in November

Seoul, South Korea – The average monthly rent and security deposit for studio apartments in Seoul experienced a modest decline in November, according to a recent analysis by real estate platform Dabang.
As of November, the average monthly rent for a studio apartment (under 33 square meters) in Seoul, with a 10 million won security deposit, was 760,000 won. This represents a 1% decrease compared to October. Similarly, the average security deposit dropped by 1.9% to 202.5 million won.
Gangnam District once again topped the list for the highest average monthly rent and security deposit among Seoul's districts. When compared to the Seoul average, Gangnam's monthly rent was 30% higher. Other districts with above-average rents included Yongsan, Yangcheon, Yeongdeungpo, Seocho, Jungrang, Gangseo, Dobong, Dongjak, Jung, Geumcheon, SeoDaemun, and Gangdong.
For security deposits, Gangnam was followed by Seocho, Yongsan, Seongdong, Yeongdeungpo, Gangdong, Gwangjin, Dongdaemun, Jung, and Songpa.
