Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – The Vietnam International Chemical Industry Exhibition (VINACHEM EXPO 2024) opened its doors on November 27th at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center, offering a platform for domestic and international companies to exchange information and explore business opportunities.

Jointly organized by VIETFAIR, the Vietnam Advertising Fair Joint Stock Company, and the Chemical Industry Sub-Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT CHEM), the three-day exhibition features over 700 booths from 500 companies across 10 countries, including the United States, Japan, South Korea, China, Thailand, and Australia.

This year's event is held concurrently with seven specialized international exhibitions: CAC VIETNAM (Pesticides and Plant Protection), VIETCHEMTECH (Chemical Equipment), VINA COATINGS (Paints and Coatings Industry), ADHESIVES & TAPE, RUBBER TECH (Rubber and Tires), PLASTICS EXPO (Plastics Industry Technology and Products), and BIOTECH.

In addition to the signing ceremony of memoranda of understanding between industry associations and international partners, the exhibition will host various seminars and forums on topics such as sustainable development of Vietnam's chemical industry, trends in the adhesives and coatings market, and an overview of Vietnam's rubber market.

As part of the event, representatives from domestic and foreign companies will have the opportunity to visit large-scale manufacturing plants and industrial zones in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Dinh, and Bac Ninh.

Hoang Chung, Vice Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, emphasized that the exhibition provides an opportunity for domestic and foreign chemical production and trading enterprises to exchange information and seek cooperation opportunities. It also creates conditions for domestic enterprises to access advanced technologies, modern solutions, and products, and to meet potential partners.

VINACHEM EXPO is considered the largest international chemical industry event in Vietnam and is expected to motivate domestic enterprises to focus on technological innovation, improve product quality and competitiveness, and participate in global value chains.
