Seoul, South Korea – Korean Air has been recognized for its exceptional service and amenities in the 2024 Global Traveler Tested Reader Survey Awards. The airline clinched multiple awards, highlighting its commitment to passenger satisfaction.
In particular, Korean Air was lauded for its outstanding in-flight service, which includes friendly and professional crew, a wide variety of meal options catering to diverse dietary needs (including vegetarian and vegan), and an extensive entertainment program. The airline's frequent flyer program, SkyPass, also received high praise for its numerous benefits and redemption options. To further enhance the customer experience, Korean Air plans to operate six special flights on the Gimpo-Jeju route, offering priority boarding for SkyPass members.
Beyond its in-flight service, Korean Air secured a second-place finish in the "Best First Class Seat Design" category. The airline also claimed third place in several other categories, including "Best Catering," "Best Business Class Seat Design," "Best Cabin Crew," and "Best Airport Staff."
Global Traveler, a leading U.S.-based travel and aviation monthly magazine established in 2004, conducts an annual survey of its subscribers to determine the best airlines in various categories. This year, the magazine's editor-in-chief, Francis Gallagher, personally experienced Korean Air's service and shared his positive impressions. Gallagher stated, "It was clear to me why our readers voted for Korean Air. The airline's high-quality in-flight service is truly deserving of these awards."
