Bucheon City is recruiting participants on a first-come, first-served basis for ‘Lifelong Learning Customizing Opportunities,’ a customized lifelong learning program promoted as part of the ‘2025 Gyeonggi-do Lifelong Learning Opportunity Special Zone Operation Support Project.’
This training is a practical, transformative learning-based program where citizens directly plan ideas and go through the entire process of design, branding, and marketing to produce and sell physical products. It will run from July 26 to August 30 at the Bucheon City Job Dream Center (Sector 2) and via the online video conferencing platform Zoom.
Target participants are citizens residing or working in Bucheon who are interested in launching their own brand, starting a one-person business, or engaging in side jobs (N-jobs), as well as local artists interested in commercializing creative content such as design and illustration.
The curriculum consists of 5 regular courses covering idea discovery and planning, branding, design, marketing, and artificial intelligence (AI) utilization, along with 5 special courses for freelancers. Participants can choose only the necessary classes from a total of 10 courses. The number of participants for each program is 20-30, and applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Furthermore, after the completion of the training, some participants will be supported with prototype production, participation in flea markets, and expert feedback, providing an opportunity to directly present their products to the market.
Gong Hee-jung, head of Bucheon City’s Lifelong Education Division, stated, “This lifelong learning opportunity special zone project is a practical learning ecosystem where citizens realize new possibilities as producers and sellers.” She added, “We hope for active participation from citizens who wish to directly implement their own ideas.”
Citizens wishing to participate can apply through the Bucheon City Public Service Reservation System (https://reserv.bucheon.go.kr/). For more details, please check the Bucheon City Lifelong Learning Center website or blog, or inquire by phone (032-625-4062).
