[GLOBAL ECONOMIC TIMES] As the weather gets colder, the number of travelers looking for warm travel destinations is increasing. This is because the long-running heat wave is receding and a record-breaking cold wave is expected this winter. As Australia, which has the opposite season from Korea, is attracting attention as a representative travel destination where you can enjoy warm weather even in winter, the travel industry has stepped up to attract customers.
On the 24th, Lotte Tourism Development announced that it will introduce a business travel product in Sydney, Australia as a representative product of the premium brand 'HIGH&' in Australia to mark the peak travel season in Australia.
The plan is to use Asiana Airlines' business class for a round-trip direct flight from Incheon to Sydney. It was explained that Asiana Airlines has secured 12 seats in the A380 Business Smartium Class to increase customer convenience. Business class passengers can use a dedicated check-in counter and a dedicated lounge, and can enjoy a comfortable trip with full-flat seats that can lie down completely. By staying overnight at five-star hotels in Sydney throughout the entire schedule, the inconvenience of having to pack luggage each time when moving to accommodation was minimized.
The itinerary includes a tour of Australia's symbols, the 'Opera House' and 'Darling Harbour'. Also included is Taronga Zoo, where you can meet animals that come to mind when you think of Australia, such as kangaroos and koalas. In addition, there are experience programs such as horseback riding and dolphin cruises.
An official from Lotte Tourism Development said, "As the Sydney travel product that was carried out from July to October ended successfully with sales of about 6 billion won, more customers are expected to use the Australian travel product from December, which is considered the peak travel season for Australia. “I look forward to it,” he said, adding, “You will be able to enjoy a satisfying premium trip as we have not only upgraded accommodations and seats, but also worked to improve the overall quality of travel.”
This product, which consists of 5 nights and 7 days, departs every Tuesday and Saturday from December to February and is priced from 5.39 million won per person.
