This strategic move aims to strengthen Magirus's presence in the Swiss market and provide enhanced support to the nation's fire services.

The new company, formed from the fire protection division of Iveco Schweiz AG, will operate independently, focusing on the sale, maintenance, and servicing of a comprehensive range of firefighting vehicles and systems. This includes turntable ladders, pumpers, robotics, digital systems, and other cutting-edge equipment tailored to meet the specific needs of Swiss fire brigades.

"The experienced sales and customer service team, which has already built up an excellent reputation, will remain the first point of contact at the same location for Swiss customers under the new company structure," confirmed Marc Kuntz, Director Sales and Customer Service.

The management team of Magirus Schweiz GmbH comprises Linda Schmidt (Customer Service), Bruno Müller (Sales), and Marco Hauk (Magirus GmbH, Ulm), ensuring a blend of local expertise and corporate oversight.

The company's operations will emphasize modern firefighting technologies, including robotics and digital systems, reflecting Magirus's commitment to innovation in the emergency services sector.
