The 2026 Korea Accommodation Sale Festa Autumn Edition Launches from September 22 (Tue) to November 8 (Sun)
Up to 70,000 KRW in Discounts Available for Multi-Night Stays in Gangwon

Gangwon Special Self-Governing State (hereinafter referred to as the "State") announced that it will launch the "Korea Accommodation Sale Festa Autumn Edition" from September 22 (Tue) to November 8 (Sun) in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization.

During this "Korea Accommodation Sale Festa Autumn Edition," discounts of up to 70,000 KRW will be provided when booking accommodation products in the Gangwon region. For 1-night stays, travelers can receive a 30,000 KRW discount for booking accommodation products priced at 70,000 KRW or more, and a 20,000 KRW discount for products priced under 70,000 KRW. For multi-night stays of 2 nights or more, booking accommodation products totaling 140,000 KRW or more will grant a 70,000 KRW discount.

In addition, the State is currently hosting the "Gangwon Tourism Bingo Challenge," where tourists visiting Gangwon during the Chuseok holiday period can participate in a stamp verification event at major tourist attractions and traditional markets to enter a lucky draw for prizes, adding an extra layer of fun to their travels.

Meanwhile, the State has selected Chuncheon and Sokcho as recommended travel destinations for September, and Cheorwon and Inje for October, awaiting the visit of tourists.

In Sokcho, the State recommends a wellness autumn tour running through "Mt. Seoraksan National Park → Seorak Hyanggi-ro → Cheoksan Hot Springs → Sokcho Tourist & Fishery Market."

In Chuncheon, a family autumn travel course is recommended, featuring visits to "Ui-am Park," "Sairo 248," and the "Animation Museum."

In Cheorwon, a trip is recommended to visit the "Goseokjeong Flower Fields" to enjoy the spectacular view of 150,000 blooming autumn flowers, including cockscombs, cosmos, sunflowers, and globeflowers.

Finally, in Inje, travelers are recommended to enjoy an autumn hike at "Baekdamsa Temple," surrounded by gorgeous autumn foliage, and experience the picturesque landscapes, busking performances, and various activities at the "Inje Autumn Flower Festival."
