BUSAN – Korean Air is stepping up its presence in the Greater China market by resuming its Busan-Beijing service and launching a special promotion for four key routes departing from Gimhae International Airport.
According to the airline on Tuesday, the promotion targets travelers flying from Busan to Shanghai (Pudong), Qingdao, Beijing, and Taipei. This initiative is part of the "China-neun Curation" (Unique China Curation) series, now in its fifth installment, which highlights the airline’s 30+ Greater China routes through various themes.
Exclusive Discounts for Early Birds
Travelers who book round-trip tickets (Economy or Prestige class) via Korean Air’s official website or mobile app by April 30 can benefit from significant savings:
-10% off for Beijing and Taipei routes.
-7% off for Shanghai (Pudong) and Qingdao routes.
The eligible travel period for these discounted fares is from May 1 to June 30, 2026.
Focus on Regional Connectivity
The "Busan Special" theme was specifically designed to celebrate the resumption of the Busan-Beijing route and to improve convenience for passengers residing outside the Seoul metropolitan area. By expanding services from regional hubs, Korean Air aims to diversify travel options for its customers.
"We hope this promotion encourages more travelers to explore the diverse charms of Greater China, which are only about a two-hour flight from Busan," a Korean Air official stated.
