Jeju City, South Korea – The Jeju Tourism Association successfully hosted the "Jeju Antre" networking event on the 2nd, inviting renowned domestic and foreign influencers to share the charms of Jeju and promote the island to a wider audience.
This year's event, themed "Replay Jeju," focused on rebranding Jeju and lasted for three days. Prior to the main event, a pre-event was held to provide workshops on "Rebranding for Sustainable Brands" for local tourism businesses and creators, aiming to enhance their capabilities.
During the main event, approximately 40 creators participated in various programs such as sharing insights on rebranding, developing slogans, and creating and screening short-form content. The final day saw creators, residents, and tourists participate in a "Clean Jeju" campaign on Chagwido Island, promoting eco-friendly travel.
Kang Dong-hoon, president of the Jeju Tourism Association, stated, "Although the domestic tourism industry has faced some difficulties this year due to a decrease in domestic tourists, we have been able to find a new breakthrough through the content created by our creators. We will continue to collaborate with creators and strengthen communication with related organizations to make Jeju a beloved and worthy destination."
