Sharing excellent demonstration cases and IR pitching promotes corporate growth and investment attraction
Daejeon City held the '2025 First Half Demonstration Performance Exchange' on June 24th at Lotte Hotel Daejeon, with over 100 participants, including promising local companies, participating demonstration companies, and venture capitalists (VCs).
This event was organized to share the excellent demonstration achievements of companies that have successfully verified their technologies and commercialized them through Daejeon City's 'Customized Demonstration Support Project for Corporate Needs' and 'Research Institute Convergence New Technology-Company Linkage Demonstration Support Project,' etc. It also aimed to support the innovative growth and new market entry of local companies by providing IR (Investor Relations) pitching opportunities for investment attraction.
First, in Part 1, officials from demonstration organizations that supported corporate field demonstrations and representatives from outstanding demonstration-participating companies were commended, recognizing their efforts in achieving demonstration results.
In Part 2, companies that participated in the demonstration project and achieved results shared their demonstration experiences, know-how, and market responses, facilitating practical information exchange among companies. In particular, six companies that demonstrated their technological capabilities and marketability participated in the IR pitching session, introducing their technologies and business models, and securing concrete investment opportunities through question-and-answer sessions with investors, including VCs.
The companies that participated in the IR presentation on this day were: ▲The.US Co., Ltd. (AI-based customized travel content population marketing solution) ▲Hisys (semiconductor heating solution) ▲Korea Sensor Research Institute (intelligent diaper sensor 'Dowuri') ▲Multix Co., Ltd. (barrier-free communication technology) ▲Grid Cure Co., Ltd. (guided ultrasonic-based pipeline diagnostic technology) ▲Tesla System Co., Ltd. (school zone pedestrian warning system).
Following the IR pitching, a free networking session was held between investors and companies, where active discussions on investment information exchange and collaboration took place.
Daejeon City has so far provided customized demonstration support, including demonstration sites, equipment, and expert consulting, to 74 companies, and has been striving for the practical growth of companies through demonstration-based investment attraction and market entry.
Choi Won-hyeok, Director-General of Daejeon City's Corporate Support Bureau, stated, "We hope that this performance exchange will provide an opportunity for companies to connect their demonstration achievements with market entry and investment attraction. We will continue to pursue various demonstration policies to establish a virtuous cycle where demonstrations go beyond simple technology verification and lead to market entry and investment."
