Actress Jeon Hye-jin is set to make her return to the screen after the sudden passing of her husband, actor Lee Sun-kyun, 1 year and 3 months ago.

Jeon Hye-jin will be attending the online press conference for the Genie TV original drama "Riding Life" on the 25th. Although she will not be facing the press directly, her appearance marks her first time in front of the microphone since Lee Sun-kyun's death, drawing much attention. Jeon Hye-jin will introduce "Riding Life" and her character in the drama.

"Riding Life" is a drama that depicts the life of three generations of mothers and daughters in Daechi-dong as Jeong-eun, a passionate working mom, entrusts her mother, Jia, with the task of taking her daughter to and from the academy. The drama is expected to shed light on the reality of the private education scene, where even young children are thrown into the competition, with the term "7-year-old exam" referring to the entrance test for famous English language institutes.

Jeon Hye-jin plays the role of Jeong-eun, a beauty marketer and a passionate working mom who wants her 7-year-old daughter to excel in her studies. Jeong-eun is determined to do everything for her daughter Seo-yoon to walk only on the flower path. When her sitter suddenly quits, she asks her mother, Jia (played by Cho Min-soo), to take Seo-yoon to and from the academy.

Jeon Hye-jin said about "Riding Life," "As someone who is interested in education (like Jeong-eun), I felt a great interest after reading the script. I read the script while relating to it and being surprised by it, as it deals with realistic subject matter."

She especially mentioned, "There are scenes where I'm at work and I get a call from my daughter, or I receive a call from kindergarten and I run out. I also received such calls on set, so I especially related to it."

This new drama comes 1 year and 7 months after Jeon Hye-jin's last drama, "Not Others," in August 2023. It is her first work since Lee Sun-kyun's death in December 2023, and it is even more eye-catching as it is her first drama in 1 year and 3 months.

Meanwhile, "Riding Life" will be released for the first time on Monday, March 3rd at 10 PM on Genie TV, Genie TV Mobile, and ENA.
