SEOUL – Hotel Skypark Group (CEO Young-Jae Choi) is set to redefine the urban hotel experience by launching a unique fusion of art and music at its largest location, Hotel Skypark Kingstown Dongdaemun. Following the success of the pool concert at the Central Seoul Pangyo branch, the group is expanding its cultural endeavors with the inaugural 'Kingstown Music Festival,' transforming the hotel into a vibrant cultural complex for both domestic and international visitors.

The festival, slated to begin tomorrow (November 15), is the result of a collaborative effort with the performance planning company Socket C&C (CEO Dae-Hyun Yoo) and the content curation platform ‘Dive In’ (CEO Chang-Yoon Jung). This partnership aims to introduce a new format of cultural content that allows guests to complexly enjoy both artistic works and musical performances.

A key highlight of the 'Kingstown Music Festival' is its innovative utilization of the hotel's unique spaces. Collaborating with 'Dive In,' the festival will feature diverse concepts, including the 'Art Room Concert', held within guest rooms adorned with artworks. The 'Stage Garden' will utilize the building's central garden, creating an outdoor concert ambiance within the hotel's interior. Perhaps most notably, the 'Terrace View Concert' will feature a stage set up on the terraces overlooking guest rooms, allowing attendees to enjoy the performance privately via headsets inside their rooms.

The lineup features musicians actively engaged on various video platforms and social media, including 'Jeong Aro,' 'Band Jungwon,' and 'DJ the Z,' presenting a diverse array of musical genres. The Art Room Concerts will further enrich the experience with docent programs led by the participating artists such as Kim Pan-Mook and Lee Ji-Ae, offering a multi-layered artistic encounter.

A representative from Hotel Skypark noted the significance of this expansion, stating, "It is inspiring to see various spaces throughout the hotel transforming into stages that connect culture and art. We hope this festival provides new inspiration in the everyday lives of our customers and serves as an opportunity to actively foster cultural exchange beyond simple accommodation."

The 'Kingstown Music Festival' signifies Hotel Skypark's strategic move to establish a music and art content brand centered around its hotel properties, a commitment that began with the Central Seoul Pangyo performance in May. This initiative solidifies the group's identity as an urban cultural hub, poised to offer a new hotel experience where art and hospitality coexist for guests from around the globe.

Tickets are available for purchase through Hotel Skypark Kingstown Dongdaemun’s Naver Place and the MOUMI platform. Due to limited seating, early reservation is highly recommended.
