ASUNCIÓN, Paraguay – Pinta Asunción Art Week (formerly Pinta Sud | ASU), Paraguay's leading international art event, is generating significant buzz in the art world as it prepares to take place from August 6th to 10th. Notably, it joins Pinta's main Art Week events alongside the inaugural Pinta Panama Art Week this year, further elevating its status.

Marking its fourth edition, Pinta Asunción Art Week will showcase a diverse range of contemporary art exhibitions and cultural events throughout the city of Asunción, under the curatorial direction of Adriana Almada. The organizers announced that the event invites visitors to experience Asunción's continuously growing art scene, unique culture, gastronomy, and tourism resources.

The five-day Art Week will feature a variety of programs. These include special exhibitions at major galleries and museums, visits to artists' studios, professionally guided tours, and a forum with the participation of international experts. Curator Almada plans to collaborate with Irene Gelfman, Pinta's global curator, to focus on strengthening the cultural links between the local and international art scenes.

Pinta Asunción Art Week is solidifying its role as an important platform for cultural, economic, and artistic exchange.
