On April 23, the “Villa de las Madres” Basic School in Luque hosted a donation ceremony for a microproject led by KOICA volunteer Sungha Choi (Lia). Titled “Strengthening the Educational Environment for Children’s Creativity and Integrated Arts,” the project focused on upgrading school facilities and providing specialized teacher training.
Since starting her service in May 2025, Ms. Choi has worked closely with the local community to foster a better environment for artistic expression. The project aims to empower elementary students by providing modern resources for creative development.
KOICA expressed sincere appreciation to the school and the local community for their continuous support. They also congratulated Ms. Choi for her outstanding commitment to improving the educational landscape in the Central Department. This initiative stands as a testament to the successful partnership between KOICA and Paraguay in fostering human development through the arts.
