Las Vegas, NV – LG is pushing the boundaries of television technology with its latest AI-driven innovations, set to revolutionize the home entertainment experience in 2025. The South Korean tech giant has unveiled a suite of AI enhancements, highlighted by the new Magic Remote AI and WebOS 25, designed to provide unprecedented levels of personalization and convenience.
At the heart of LG's AI revolution is the redesigned Magic Remote AI, featuring a prominent AI button that serves as a gateway to the advanced algorithms of WebOS 25. By simply pressing and holding the AI button, users can engage in natural voice conversations with their televisions, requesting personalized content recommendations, information retrieval, and more. For example users can ask the tv to show them movies that were released in 2024, or ask for movies that were filmed in specific locations.
LG's AI is designed to learn user preferences and viewing habits, providing highly accurate and tailored recommendations. The introduction of Voice ID further enhances personalization by automatically identifying individual users and displaying their preferred settings and content.
In addition to content discovery, LG is integrating generative AI capabilities into its televisions. The Generative AI Gallery allows users to create custom images directly on their TVs, opening up new possibilities for personalized displays and experiences.
LG's AI enhancements extend beyond content and personalization, with significant improvements to image and sound quality. AI-powered image scaling and Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro deliver stunning visuals, while advanced audio algorithms create immersive virtual surround sound.
Driving these AI capabilities are LG's new A-series processors, including the powerful A11 chip. These processors provide the necessary performance to handle the complex AI algorithms and deliver a seamless user experience.
LG has also improved on its well known OLED televisions. The new OLED evo M4 is now capable of wireless signal transmission, and can display 4k resolution images at a 144hz refresh rate.
With its latest AI innovations, LG is poised to redefine the future of television, offering a more intelligent, personalized, and immersive entertainment experience.
