Incheon, South Korea – The Incheon Tourism Organization and Lotte World have announced a strategic partnership aimed at attracting more foreign visitors to the region. The agreement, signed at the Incheon Sangsang Platform, will leverage the combined strengths of both organizations to create compelling tourism offerings.
The collaboration will focus on developing tour packages that connect the Sangsang Platform, a key project of the Jemulpo Renaissance initiative, with Lotte World's popular attractions in Seoul, including Adventure, Aquarium, and Seoul Sky. This will provide tourists with a seamless experience combining cultural exploration with entertainment.
Key initiatives under the agreement include:
Joint Marketing: Utilizing online and offline channels to promote Incheon and Lotte World to international audiences.
Exclusive Shuttle Bus: Launching a dedicated shuttle service for foreign tourists, connecting Incheon Airport, Yeongjong Island, Wolmido Island, the Sangsang Platform, the Open Port area, and Lotte World. This will improve accessibility and convenience for visitors.
Product Development: Creating tailored tour packages for both individual and group travelers, showcasing the best of Incheon and Lotte World.
"This partnership with Lotte World, a leading theme park and a must-visit destination in Korea, is a significant step towards boosting our foreign tourism," said Baek Hyun, president of the Incheon Tourism Organization. "We believe this collaboration will not only attract more international visitors but also contribute to the overall revitalization of the region."
This initiative is expected to enhance Incheon's appeal as a tourist destination and strengthen its position in the global tourism market.
