Key Technology: “Microbial Enzyme-Based Biodegradation”
Ko Shin-sung: “Simultaneously Improving Agriculture and the Environment in the Asia Region”

AgriS, a leading Vietnamese agricultural company that cultivates a massive 72,000 hectares of farmland, has partnered with BADP Korea Co., Ltd., a Korean company specializing in biodegradable plastics.
On the 15th, the two companies signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to jointly build a highly eco-friendly, sustainable, and intelligent agricultural ecosystem in the future.
The signing ceremony was held at the AgriS headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City, bringing together key executives and researchers from Vietnam's largest agricultural enterprise, AgriS, Green Packaging, and South Korea’s BADP Korea Co., Ltd.

Attending for AgriS were Dang Huynh Ngoc Mi, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors; Tran Tan Viet, Director; Phan Minh Thanh, Senior Advisor; and Thai Van Chuyen, General Director.
Representing Green Packaging were Truong Hong Quan, Chairman of the Board of Directors; Phan Gia Vu Duy, General Director; Tran Minh Phong, Production Director; and Pham Van Phuc, Tay Ninh Branch Manager.
From the Korean side, Ko Shin-sung, CEO of BADP Korea Co., Ltd.; Kim Myung-gyu, Technical Director (CTO); Lee Hyung-jin, Head of the Vietnam Corporation; and Lee Jong-seop, CEO of Polyone Technology Co., Ltd., were present.

During the ceremony, a video on AgriS's sustainable growth strategy was shown, Green Packaging presented its cooperation achievements, and BADP Korea Co., Ltd. introduced its technology and proposed strategic collaboration.
Ko Shin-sung, CEO of BADP Korea Co., Ltd., stated, "This agreement is more than just a technological partnership; it's the first step toward realizing a sustainable vision that simultaneously improves agriculture and the environment in the Asian region."
Kim Myung-gyu, CTO of BADP Korea Co., Ltd., explained, "BADP’s core technology can give plastic products microbial enzyme-based biodegradation functionality right from the production stage."

Kim emphasized the company's long-term commitment to AgriS, stating, "By restraining the damage to the natural environment caused by plastic films, we can enhance agricultural competitiveness and increase production. At the same time, the sustainability of the eco-friendly packaging industry will make Vietnam a forward base for expansion into the Asian market."
In the discussion session, Dang Huynh Ngoc Mi, Chairwoman of AgriS; Truong Hong Quan, Chairman of Green Packaging; and Ko Shin-sung, CEO of BADP Korea, took turns speaking, sharing their vision and the necessity of the collaboration.
The highlight of the day was the MOU signing ceremony. Thai Van Chuyen, General Director of AgriS, and Ko Shin-sung, CEO of BADP Korea, signed the agreement. Dang Huynh Ngoc Mi, Chairwoman of AgriS; Truong Hong Quan, Chairman of Green Packaging; and Lee Hyung-jin, Head of the BADP Vietnam Corporation, were witnesses.

The two companies plan to pursue cooperation in several areas, including: building a sustainable agricultural ecosystem, co-developing eco-friendly packaging solutions, expanding the adoption of biodegradable materials and technologies, and jointly entering the international market.
BADP Korea considers the agreement with Vietnam to be a highly encouraging event.
This is because the technical combination of Vietnam's agricultural sector and Korea's biodegradable plastic technology is a starting point based on the two pillars of eco-friendliness and a smart agriculture model.
The process leading to this business agreement took three years of scientific verification. BADP Korea directly installed and demonstrated its BADP agricultural mulching film for sugarcane in Vietnam.

AgriS and Green Packaging agreed that BADP Korea's potential is based on its excellent technology, and the collaboration will enable them to be pioneers in the global eco-friendly agriculture and packaging markets, improving agricultural production, packaging, and the environment.
To secure scientific data on its microbial additive biodegradable plastics, BADP Korea Co., Ltd. underwent a year-long verification process with KCL, a global testing and certification body. Immediately afterward, it was granted a unique code from the Ministry of Environment and the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute (KEITI).
