Valparaíso’s Teatromuseo Hosts 12th Puppetry Festival

Valparaíso, Chile – The Teatromuseo del Títere y el Payaso in Valparaíso is set to host the 12th Puppetry Festival, "La Rebelión de los Muñecos" (The Rebellion of the Puppets), from November 8th to December 15th. This year's festival will feature performances by renowned puppeteer Jordi Bertrán and a diverse array of puppetry from around the world.
Spanish puppeteer Jordi Bertrán, a true master of his craft, will present his work "Antología" at the festival. Bertrán will captivate audiences with his delicate and lifelike puppets, many of which he has created since the 1980s. Known for his ability to breathe life into each puppet, Bertrán's work has garnered international acclaim.
In addition to Bertrán, the festival will showcase puppetry from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and other countries. Each performance promises a unique and captivating experience, featuring innovative techniques and diverse storytelling. The festival will also include performances by renowned puppetry companies such as Chico Simões from Brazil and Habru Teatro de Títeres from Colombia.
