Kim Min-byeol (21), the 2023 KLPGA Tour Rookie of the Year, has signed a two-year re-contract with HiteJinro, receiving 'extraordinary' treatment. It is reported that Kim will receive over 500 million won annually through this re-contract, a significant increase of more than three times her previous sponsorship amount.
HiteJinro, the organizer of the KLPGA Tour major tournament HiteJinro Championship, is renowned for discovering promising talents and nurturing them into top-tier players. Kim Min-byeol, supported by HiteJinro, has demonstrated remarkable performance, winning the Rookie of the Year title in her debut year and securing her first victory last season.
HiteJinro has a history of sponsoring prominent players such as Seo Hee-kyung, Chun In-gee, and Ko Jin-young, contributing to their growth into world-class athletes. Kim Min-byeol is highly anticipated to follow in the footsteps of these seniors and achieve successful performances on the LPGA Tour.
