Facilitating exchanges between the Korean-American community and major domestic figures ahead of the World Korean Associations Federation Convention
Expanding solidarity and cooperation within the Korean-American community

The Federation of Korean Associations, USA (President Seo Jung-il) will host the '2026 Night of the Americas' on September 26 at the Swiss Grand Hotel in Seoul.

Ahead of the World Korean Associations Federation Convention, this event is designed to bring together representatives from Korean associations across the U.S. and key domestic figures to exchange ideas and explore ways to foster development and cooperation in the Korean-American community.

The event will kick off with pre-performances and a reception at 4:00 PM, followed by the main ceremony at 5:00 PM. Key figures from the Korean-American community, as well as representatives from domestic overseas Korean organizations and institutions, are expected to attend.

In his prepared message regarding the significance of the event, President Seo Jung-il emphasized, "This 'Night of the Americas' goes beyond a simple dinner event; it will be a meaningful occasion where Korean associations from various regions in the U.S. communicate and connect as a single network." He added, "We will make this an opportunity to unite the voice of the Korean-American community and further expand exchange and cooperation between South Korea and the Korean-American community."

President Seo continued, "I hope this will be a time for Korean association presidents and officials who serve their communities across the U.S. to encourage one another and discover new paths for cooperation," urging, "I look forward to many joining hands to gather strength for a new leap forward in the Korean-American community."

Paul Song, the chairperson of the event's organizing committee, also asked for active interest and participation from the diaspora community.

Chairperson Paul Song shared his thoughts, stating, "Through this event, we expect Korean association officials active in various U.S. regions to share experiences and information, and build new relationships and cooperation." He added, "We are doing our utmost in preparation so that this can serve as a communication channel connecting the Korean-American community and South Korea."

The main ceremony will be hosted by Secretary-General Park Kyung-deok and Senior Vice President Kim Min-ah. It will feature the opening declaration, national protocol, introduction of key attendees, welcoming remarks by the organizing committee chair, a keynote address by President Seo Jung-il, congratulatory speeches, a screening of a video on the Federation of Korean Associations, USA, special congratulatory remarks, and celebratory performances.

A commemorative photo session and dinner will follow the main event.

Through this event, the Federation of Korean Associations, USA plans to strengthen solidarity among regional Korean associations in the U.S. while broadening the scope of exchange and cooperation with domestic institutions and organizations.

In particular, as Korean association presidents and officials working for the community across the U.S. gather in one place, it is expected to serve as a communicative platform to discuss common pending issues and future development directions for the Korean-American community.
