Incheon City and Incheon Tourism Organization are recruiting the ‘Incheon 9 Scenic Spots DIY (Do Incheon Yourself) Experience Group’ to allow participants to discover and experience Incheon's diverse charms firsthand. This groundbreaking program offers a ₩20,000 experience fee to participants who plan their own travel courses and complete missions, and it's expected to significantly contribute to boosting Incheon tourism.
Tailored Travel Experiences
Designed around Incheon's nine representative tourist destinations, this experience group aims to enable customized travel reflecting the individual tastes and interests of participants, focusing on discovering hidden gems and creating new experiences in Incheon. Notably, it seeks to double the enjoyment of travel by encouraging active participation rather than simply providing information.
The experience courses consist of three types: Core Missions, Optional Courses, and Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Courses. Core Missions are essential activities that highlight the unique characteristics of each region, requiring participants to take certification photos at designated locations or complete specific experiences. For example, for the Wolmido course, "certification of riding the Wolmi Sea Train" is a mandatory mission. Optional Courses provide flexibility, allowing participants to freely choose 1-2 activities from recommended options, while DIY Courses enable participants to freely plan their desired locations or activities, completing a truly "personalized trip." This multi-layered course structure provides participants with a wide range of choices, allowing for in-depth experiences beyond simple sightseeing.
Recruitment Details
A total of 1,000 participants will be recruited over three rounds. The 1st recruitment round targets 500 people from July 23rd to August 12th.
