Samsung Electronics celebrated its 55th anniversary with a renewed focus on artificial intelligence (AI) as the driving force behind its future growth. In a ceremony held at the company's Digital City in Suwon, Vice Chairman Han Jong-hee emphasized the pivotal role of AI in shaping the next decade.
"The paradigm that will dominate the next ten years is AI," Han said. "AI is moving beyond the bubble of uncertainty and into a new era of widespread adoption, bringing about unprecedented changes to our daily lives."
He further emphasized the need for a comprehensive approach, stating, "We need to go beyond simply changing specific products or businesses. We must adopt a new approach, from the way we work to the discovery of new growth engines."
Han also underscored the importance of technology and quality, stating, "Securing technology and quality for our customers is the foundation of our competitiveness and the only way to lead the paradigm shift. All employees must dedicate themselves to further strengthening our core technological leadership and ensuring that our quality is second to none."
In addition to focusing on AI and technological advancements, Samsung Electronics is also promoting corporate social responsibility through its 'Sharing Week' campaign. This two-week initiative encourages employees to participate in various charitable activities, including donations, blood drives, and community service.
The company's commitment to AI, coupled with its ongoing efforts in corporate social responsibility, highlights Samsung Electronics' vision for the future. As the company continues to evolve, it is clear that AI will play a central role in driving innovation and shaping the industries it operates in.
