On the 19th, Cheonan City held the launch ceremony for the ‘2025 Smart On Future Vision Team’ in the main conference room, officially kicking off its activities.
The city has been operating the ‘Future Vision Team,’ a talent development program aimed at enhancing the policy planning capabilities of MZ generation public officials while fostering creative ideas for municipal innovation.
Since taking its first step in 2016, the Future Vision Team has continued for nine years, evolving with a new identity for each cohort and striving to adopt operational methods suited to the trends of the times.
Starting with this launch ceremony, the ‘Smart On Future Vision Team’ will aim to create ‘A New Cheonan Built by Smart Young Talent,’ seeking to generate diverse ideas amid a rapidly changing administrative environment.
For the next seven months, the Future Vision Team will consist of 26 members divided into five teams. They will engage in activities such as team-based research projects, workshops, expert consultations, and benchmarking to develop policy ideas based on a variety of experiences.
The ideas generated will be shared during a policy research presentation in the second half of this year, with outstanding proposals to be reviewed with relevant departments and incorporated into municipal policies for the development of the city.
Cheonan Mayor Park Sang-don stated, “I hope the Smart On Future Vision Team will lead administrative innovation in our city with creative and bold ideas.” He added, “We will provide unwavering support to help MZ generation public officials grow through the policy planning process and bring about tangible changes that citizens can feel.”
