Chungcheongbuk-do is once again gearing up to celebrate the hidden talents, unyielding spirit, and creative potential of its youth. The Chungcheongbuk-do Youth Comprehensive Support Center (led by Director Kim Ja-jung) has announced that it will host the "11th Chungbuk Dream Art Festival" on the 17th of this month at 1:30 PM. The event will take place in the Cultural Hall on the 6th floor of the New Annex Building at the Chungcheongbuk-do Provincial Government. This festival serves as a vital platform for out-of-school youth—adolescents who have left the traditional school system for various reasons—to showcase their artistic capabilities, build self-confidence, and engage deeply with the local community.

Now marking its meaningful 11th anniversary, this year's festival is held under the powerful and energetic slogan: "Tension UP, Volume MAX, Hot Cheers." The subtitle encapsulates the enthusiasm and passion that the participating youth are expected to bring to the stage. Approximately 250 attendees, including out-of-school youths from across the province, local residents, and parents, are expected to gather, creating an atmosphere of warm inclusion, mutual understanding, and shared joy. 

The core of the event features vibrant performances by 22 diverse teams of out-of-school youths who have traveled from various regions of Chungcheongbuk-do. Divided into two distinct parts, the program is packed with comprehensive artistic showcases, including dynamic dance routines, soulful vocal performances, and intricate instrumental arrangements. These performances are not merely recreational; they represent months of dedication, sweat, and perseverance, offering profound emotional resonance and inspiration to the audience members who witness their growth. 

Adding a special touch of mentorship and continuity to the event, a special congratulatory performance has been organized. A team featuring senior out-of-school youths who successfully advanced into the Department of Practical Music at Cheongju University will take the stage. Their performance is designed to offer heartfelt encouragement, practical inspiration, and a sense of shared identity to their younger peers currently navigating similar paths outside the conventional school framework. 

Director Kim Ja-jung shared his aspirations for the event, stating, "We sincerely hope that this festival becomes a transformative stage where our youths can gain unshakeable confidence and pride. At the same time, we wish for it to serve as a meaningful catalyst for local residents to send warm attention, active encouragement, and continuous support to out-of-school youths as they build their futures."

The "11th Chungbuk Dream Art Festival" is open to the general public, and admission is completely free. Anyone interested—including local residents, youths, and families—is welcome to attend, making it a truly open festival that bridges social divides and fosters community cohesion.
