NongHyup Central Federation announced that the Han-Viet Future Generation Exchange Center (Chairman Kim Dong-hwan), a non-profit corporation, successfully completed its "Settlement Support Education for Multicultural Families" for Korean-Vietnamese multicultural families at NongHyup University for three days, from July 2nd to 4th. This education program was designed to help families adapt to Korean society and achieve stable settlement, and it was conducted as one of the key projects led by the Han-Viet Future Generation Exchange Center, which was established under the initiative of NongHyup Central Federation.

The Han-Viet Future Generation Exchange Center is a non-profit corporation launched under the leadership of NongHyup Central Federation in December of last year to accelerate economic cooperation and expand exchanges between Korea and Vietnam, following the establishment of a comprehensive and strategic partnership between the two countries. Its main goals are to foster agricultural development and strengthen future generation cooperation between the two nations, and this multicultural family support education is an extension of that mission.

The education program, which targeted Korean-Vietnamese multicultural family members selected from across the country, considered various factors for selection, including the length of marriage, number of children, and completion of Korean language education. The curriculum was diverse, encompassing understanding multicultural family support policies and agricultural and rural values, as well as individual and group psychological counseling for parents, and digital coding education for children. Special emphasis was placed on improving family communication skills and expanding educational opportunities for children, aiming to provide practical assistance.

Chairman Kim Dong-hwan stated, "We hope this education will serve as an important stepping stone for multicultural families to settle stably in Korean society and plan a healthy future with their children." Based on the success of this program, the Han-Viet Future Generation Exchange Center announced plans to operate a second round of education, demonstrating its continued commitment to supporting multicultural families. NongHyup has consistently provided support education to help multicultural families settle in rural areas through regional NongHyup branches, including Gyeongbuk NongHyup, Jeonbuk NongHyup, and Gangwon NongHyup. This particular program holds greater significance as a customized program reflecting the specific characteristics of Korean-Vietnamese multicultural families.
