Gyeongju, South Korea – Famous travel YouTuber 'Pani Bottle' (Park Jae-han), who has 2.39 million subscribers, recently uploaded a video titled "What's the problem with Korean tourism? (Gyeongju)" on his YouTube channel, pointing out problems he experienced during his trip to Gyeongju.
Pani Bottle visited Gyeongju with 'Chungju Man' Kim Sun-tae, who runs the official YouTube channel of Chungju City, and Anthony from Uganda. They pointed out problems such as the lack of English 표시 on the bus route map at the bus stop in front of Gyeongju Station, the bus information system that does not properly inform the destination in English and only informs the scheduled departure time, and the buttons that do not work properly.
They also cited the reckless driving of the taxi driver they used to move to the center of Gyeongju, the colorful signs of shops in Hwanglidan-gil and the unharmonious buildings, and the lack of English 표시 on shops and restaurants as disappointing points.
Pani Bottle suggested ways to attract more tourists to 'Donggung and Wolji' such as enjoying Hanbok 체험 and boating, and plans to restore the burned Hwangnyongsa Temple.
On the other hand, he expressed satisfaction with the clean facilities of the Hanok 숙소, the rides at Gyeongju World, and the friendly taxi driver.
Pani Bottle expressed his disappointment with his trip to Gyeongju, saying, "If Kyoto, Japan feels like I went to ancient Japan, Gyeongju feels like a jjambong (spicy noodle soup) mixed."
