[GLOBAL ECONOMIC TIMES] Shinhan Bank held the '2024 Swith (Shinhan with) Global CSR Project' event, a global environmental, social, and governance (ESG) implementation project, at its headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul on the 29th.
The 'Swith Global CSR Project' is a social contribution project that Shinhan Bank, which is expanding its business in 20 countries around the world, has been promoting since last year with the purpose of 'practicing addition (+) and sharing (÷) beyond borders.' Through this, Shinhan Bank conducts a global scholarship project to support the growth of global future talent and volunteer activities for the underprivileged among domestic multicultural families.
At this event, Shinhan Bank awarded scholarships to 20 foreign students studying abroad in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Kazakhstan through the 'Additional Ham' activity. In addition, as a 'sharing' activity, we worked with foreign students to produce eco-friendly hand warmers and gift sets for low-income multicultural families in Korea.
