Movie screenings and Children's Day commemorative events to be held across the city

Cheonan City announced on the 30th that it will host the '2025 Cheonan Children's Happiness Week' for six days from May 1st to 6th to commemorate the 103rd Children's Day.

Under the theme 'Gather! Play! Dream! LaLaLa Cheonan Children's Festival,' this event will feature play, culture, art, and sports programs, including ▲Culture Day ▲Festa Day ▲Sports Day ▲Art Day.

Culture Day will be held across the city for four days from the 1st to the 4th. The 'Minecraft Movie' screening will take place at Lotte Cinema Buldang branch on the 1st and 2nd, the 'Dreaming Cheonan Children' drawing contest will be held at Cheonan Citizen's Sports Complex on the 3rd, and the 'LaLaLa Pizza Making' cooking class will be held at Ttujour Bakery Village on the 4th.

Festa Day, the 13th Cheonan Children's Day commemorative event, is scheduled to be held at Cheonan Citizen's Sports Complex on the 5th with pre-show performances, a children's musical, a Cheonan Children's Quiz Contest, and the final round of the Dancing Queen Contest.

LaLaLa Playground, consisting of large inflatable bouncers, sports inflatable bouncers, a rail train, and kids' riders, along with about 40 experience booths and food trucks, will offer a variety of entertainment and food.

Promotional activities by related organizations, such as job and play experiences, and fire truck and police car experiences, are also planned.

In particular, the Children's Planning Group Plus and a choir of 103 children and their families participated in planning the event's programs and will present performances, adding significance and emotion to the Children's Happiness Week.

Art Day will be held for three days from the 4th to the 6th at the Cheonan Children's Dream Nuri Center. A total of about 100 works showcasing children's creativity and perspectives, including 'Art Contest Winning Works' and the 'Cheonan Children's Photo Exhibition,' will be displayed.

Sports Day will be held on the 6th at the Cheonan Sports Complex auxiliary stadium with the 'LaLaLa Football Festival' with Cheonan City FC. Eighty children will participate in learning football with the players and will have a special time fostering teamwork and sportsmanship through mini-games and sports activities.
