Finnish Joint Application for Higher Education Now Open

Helsinki, Finland – The first joint application period for Finnish universities and universities of applied sciences (Polytechnics) commenced on January 8th and will conclude on January 22nd at 3:00 PM. This application period allows students to apply to a wide range of programs, including those taught entirely in English and programs offered by the University of the Arts.

Application Method: Students apply through Studyinfo, a centralized online platform.
Program Offerings: 431 programs are available, comprising 216 from Polytechnics and 215 from universities.
Available Study Places: Approximately 8,600 study places are available.
English-Taught Programs: A significant portion of applicants for English-taught programs are international students from outside the EU/EEA/Switzerland.Tuition Fees: International students are required to pay tuition fees.
Application Fee: Starting January 1st, 2025, an application fee of €100 is mandatory for both Bachelor's and Master's programs.
Application Limits: Students can apply to a maximum of six programs.
Acceptance: Students can receive multiple offers of admission but can only accept one offer for a program starting in the same semester.
Results: Results for English-taught programs will be released from early February onwards. All results will be published by May 28th, 2025.
