A terrifying accident occurred at an amusement park near Jeddah, in Taif, Saudi Arabia. On July 30 (local time), a 360-degree rotating ride named '360 Big Pendulum' crashed during operation, injuring at least 23 passengers.
A video of the incident, which was released on social media, shows the ride's circular rotation part colliding with the opposite structure while rotating in the air, and then plummeting to the ground. It has been reported that at least three people were seriously injured in the accident.
According to the Saudi state-run news outlet Arab News, the accident occurred at an amusement park located in the Al Hada area of Taif, and local authorities immediately took action. The Governor of Taif, Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, ordered the complete closure of the amusement park during the investigation period.
