Jensen Huang Donates 13.5 Billion Won to Flood-Stricken Nepal

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang has donated $10 million (approx. 13.5 billion won) for flood victims in Nepal.

According to The Himalayan Times on the 4th (local time), Nepalese Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle announced Huang's donation, expressing his gratitude on behalf of the Nepalese government.

Minister Wagle stated, "Huang's donation will be of significant help to the relief and rescue operations for the disaster victims," adding, "We hope this will serve as an encouragement for other individuals and organizations to join in supporting the victims."

Previously, according to Reuters, Minister Wagle stated that approximately $4 billion to $5 billion (approx. 5.4052 trillion to 6.7565 trillion won) would be needed for flood recovery costs. Immediately after the massive flood, the South Korean government announced a humanitarian aid package worth $1 million to Nepal on the 27th of last month.
