Chungnam Institute for Content Industry (President Kim Gok-mi, hereinafter referred to as the Institute) announced remarkable achievements by supporting three companies in participating in the "2025 XR·Metaverse Fair Tokyo Summer 2025," Asia's largest B2B exhibition held in Tokyo, Japan.
The Institute stated that it participated in the fair, held at Tokyo Big Sight for three days from July 2nd to 4th, along with three promising metaverse companies from Chungnam (Digiforest, Eighttonz, Artmu). They achieved a total of 196 export consultations, amounting to ₩1.423 billion (approximately $734,000 USD).
Digiforest, which showcased manufacturing AI and metaverse solutions, recorded export consultations totaling $530,000 with major Japanese companies such as NISSUI, KAK, and OKI, and is continuing follow-up meetings. Eighttonz is pursuing a $300,000 contract with Japanese content companies like COVER and Shueisha, centering on its XR and metaverse solution "Real Rise." Artmu signed two Letters of Intent (LOI) for global collaboration with Largo.ai from Switzerland and Apas Port from Japan, and is continuing follow-up discussions regarding IP-based content production with companies like Atari and Bandai Namco.
Through this participation, Chungnam companies not only showcased their metaverse technology to the global market but also solidified their cooperation base through networking with local global companies, proving the potential for global expansion of Chungnam's metaverse industry.
Kim Gok-mi, President of the Chungnam Institute for Content Industry, stated, "This achievement recognizes the potential of Chungnam's promising XR and metaverse companies on the global stage." She added, "We will continue to actively support the growth of local companies by creating various global expansion opportunities, including overseas exhibitions."
Meanwhile, this fair was Asia's largest XR and metaverse B2B specialized exhibition hosted by RX Japan, with a large number of buyers from various industrial fields such as manufacturing, logistics, medical, and entertainment participating.
