Gyeongsangbuk-do conducted generative artificial intelligence (AI) press release writing training and field content production practice for approximately 60 public relations practitioners from the provincial government and 22 municipal offices.
On the 22nd, the province held the "2026 Provincial and Municipal PR Department Capacity Building Workshop" in the Mungyeong Sajae area. The workshop focused not only on acquiring new public relations techniques, but also on delivering policies with messages that are easy for residents to understand and capturing local charm into content.
In the morning, practical education on using generative AI was held under the theme of "Practical Press Release Writing: Writing Faster and Better with AI." Participants learned how to utilize AI based on accurate fact-checking and policy understanding, and focused on training to transform complex policies and administrative information into messages easily understood by residents.
In the afternoon, field PR practice continued around Mungyeong Sajae. Divided into five teams, participants explored various parts of Mungyeong Sajae to discover local charm, and directly planned and produced post images and short-form content. They also shared completed results to exchange PR ideas and production experiences.
The workshop also featured a communication program allowing participants to take a brief break from their duties and recharge. Furthermore, the province awarded commendations to municipal contributors who have contributed to the development of PR operations.
The province plans to strengthen PR collaboration between the provincial government and municipalities so that outstanding content from each region does not remain limited to individual cities and counties, but spreads as the charm of Gyeongsangbuk-do as a whole.
Park Sang-hyun, Spokesperson for Gyeongsangbuk-do, stated, "More important than how much new technology is utilized is how easily and accurately necessary information is delivered to residents. We will carry out provincial administration PR that residents can empathize with and experience by making policies easy to understand and vividly conveying local charms such as Gyeongsangbuk-do's culture and tourism."
