Multicultural TV Selected as Public Interest Channel for 2025-2026, Contributing to Enhancing Diversity in Korean Society

Multicultural TV announced on March 5th that it has been selected as a public interest channel for 2025-2026 by the Korea Communications Commission (KCC). This marks the fourth consecutive time Multicultural TV has been designated as a public interest channel since 2019.
The KCC finalized the selection of 9 public interest channels, including Multicultural TV, and 1 channel for the disabled welfare, through its 4th meeting on February 28th. Multicultural TV has been producing various programs aimed at multicultural families and foreign residents, contributing to enhancing diversity and promoting mutual understanding in Korean society.
Lim Min-joo, CEO of Multicultural TV, stated, "This selection as a public interest channel is a significant step for Korea as it moves towards a multicultural society. We will continue to represent the voices of multicultural members, enhance understanding of multicultural society, and contribute to realizing the values of inclusion and coexistence."
Multicultural TV can be viewed on KT Genie TV channel 97, SK Btv channel 119, LG U+ channel 148, Skylife channel 190, LG HelloVision channel 159, SK Btv Affordable channel 219, D'Live channel 82, CMB channel 87-4, and HCN channel 211.
