Spreading regional culture and tourism content through on-site coverage of "Jeonbuk is Special in Performance" and proposals for improving the Jeonbuk culture and tourism integrated platform
The Jeonbuk State Culture and Tourism Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the Foundation) is recruiting 10 "2026 JB Culture and Tourism Correspondents" by October 26 to cover local arts and culture scenes and promote Jeonbuk culture and tourism content.
The "JB Culture and Tourism Correspondents" is a citizen-participatory public relations project where participants directly cover local performance scenes to produce review content and use the Jeonbuk culture and tourism integrated platform to propose improvement opinions.
Applicants must be residents of Jeonbuk State as of the announcement date, have an interest in performance, culture, and arts, and be capable of on-site reporting, photography, and producing online content such as blogs and social media. The Foundation will select a total of 10 people: 2 from each of the eastern, western, southern, and central regions, along with 2 open-recruitment positions.
Through document screening, the Foundation will comprehensively evaluate content production capabilities, activity plans, understanding of missions, and online utilization skills. Applicants must submit one representative piece of content they have produced, such as a blog or social media post, or a portfolio. Those without existing content may substitute it with a separately written piece.
Selected correspondents will perform a total of three activity missions per person from November to December. Main activities include ▲ covering performances linked to "Jeonbuk is Special in Performance" twice, and ▲ writing a review of the Jeonbuk culture and tourism integrated platform and proposing improvements once. Performance coverage is scheduled to take place intensively during November.
Correspondents will produce their activity results in a blog-style format. Activity fees are 150,000 KRW per mission, with a maximum of 450,000 KRW paid per person.
The Foundation will review the produced content and utilize it on official promotional channels such as its official Naver blog. Correspondents will also post the content on their personal blogs to spread information on Jeonbuk's arts, culture, and tourism.
Choi Young-gyu, Secretary General of the Foundation, stated, "The JB Culture and Tourism Correspondents is a participatory public relations project where citizens experience Jeonbuk's diverse culture and arts scenes through their own eyes and promote their charm. This year, by linking on-site performance coverage with reviews of the Jeonbuk culture and tourism integrated platform, we plan to capture both vivid stories from the field and user opinions. We look forward to the great interest and participation of local residents."
Interested applicants can download the application form from the Foundation's website, fill it out, and submit it via email (jbct410@jbct.or.kr) by 6:00 PM on October 26.
