Torino, Italy – South Korean short track speed skater Kim Gili made history at the 2025 Winter Universiade in Torino, Italy, by winning all five gold medals in the women's competition.
Kim clinched her fifth gold medal in the 1,000m final on [Date], crossing the finish line in a time of 1:31.559. Her teammate, Seo Huimin, took silver.
Kim's dominance continued in the 3,000m relay, where she teamed up with Seo, Kim Geon-hee, and Lee Ji-a to secure another gold medal.

South Korean Men Dominate
The South Korean men's team also performed exceptionally well. Kim Tae-sung, Lee Dong-hyun, and Bae Seo-chan swept the podium in the 1,000m event. Kim Tae-sung claimed four gold medals in total, winning the 500m, 1,000m, 1,500m, and mixed relay.
However, the men's team narrowly missed out on a gold medal in the 5,000m relay after a late-race crash.
