Córdoba, Argentina – The Córdoba Tourism Agency has made significant strides in strengthening its presence in the Colombian market, participating actively in the Vitrina Turística ANATO 2025 in Bogotá, Colombia. This strategic move underscores the region's commitment to attracting more international visitors and solidifying its position as a premier tourist destination in Latin America.

Led by the agency's president, Darío Capitani, the Córdoba delegation engaged in a series of crucial institutional meetings. These included discussions with the executive president of ANATO and the director of Wholesale Operators, focusing on the development of innovative tourism products and collaborative initiatives such as Familiarization (FAM) Tours and training programs.

Furthermore, the agency reinforced its existing partnership with the Bogotá District Tourism Institute, with which it maintains a reciprocal assistance agreement. Efforts were also made to enhance connectivity, with meetings held with airlines such as Avianca and Aerorepública, which have recently expanded their services between Córdoba and Colombia.

Recognizing the diverse interests of travelers, the delegation also engaged with specialized tour operators focusing on golf and religious tourism, two sectors with considerable potential for the Córdoba province.

The Colombian market holds significant importance for Argentinian inbound tourism, demonstrating a consistent growth trend. In 2024, the arrival of Colombian tourists to Argentina increased by 5% year-over-year. The agency’s participation in ANATO 2025 served as a strategic opportunity to further promote Córdoba's wide range of attractions and establish valuable commercial alliances within the Latin American market.

A highlight of the agency's agenda was "Córdoba Night," a special networking event held on February 27th. This event provided a platform for connecting with Colombian travel agents, media representatives, and other key stakeholders in the local tourism ecosystem. Attendees were treated to a showcase of Córdoba's rich gastronomic heritage and diverse tourism offerings. The night included presentations on the province's unique travel experiences and a tasting of regional wines and culinary specialties, offering a sensory journey that reflected the destination's cultural identity and culinary excellence.

The Córdoba Tourism Agency's proactive approach at ANATO 2025 reflects its dedication to expanding its international reach and showcasing the region's unique appeal to a growing audience of global travelers.
