Seoul, South Korea – Bbia, a leading indie beauty brand in South Korea, has announced record-breaking sales for the year 2024. The company's revenue reached 57.6 billion KRW, a remarkable 50.6% increase compared to the previous year. Operating profit also saw a significant rise of 34.1%, reaching 5.6 billion KRW.

Bbia attributes this exceptional performance to several factors, including strong domestic sales growth and robust sales in Japan. The company's strategic approach to new product launches across its various brands, coupled with active online and offline marketing initiatives, has successfully captured consumer attention and driven sales growth. Notably, About Tone, Bbia's makeup base brand, has witnessed remarkable success with its best-selling Blur Powder Pact, which is now available in over 700 Olive Young stores. The product's positive online reviews and social media buzz have further solidified its market position.

Furthermore, Bbia's aggressive expansion into global markets, particularly Japan, has yielded impressive results. The company's localized marketing strategies and the launch of new products tailored to the Japanese market have fueled its growth in the country. The recent launch of the Row Tint product at a large-scale pop-up store in Tokyo, organized by @cosme, was met with immense popularity, significantly boosting Bbia's brand awareness and loyalty in Japan. Bbia's subsidiary, Bbia Japan, is committed to developing localized marketing strategies and introducing customized products, further solidifying its presence in the Japanese market. The company believes that its success in Japan will serve as a springboard for expansion into other international markets.

Despite the overall positive performance, Bbia's net profit experienced a decline compared to the previous year. This is attributed to one-time expenses associated with the company's SPAC merger listing last year.

"We have successfully diversified our revenue streams by expanding domestic sales through new product launches and increasing our market share in Japan," said Park Gwang-chun, CEO of Bbia. "Moving forward, we will focus on optimizing our brand portfolio and expanding our global market presence to achieve sustainable growth and improve profitability."

This remarkable achievement underscores Bbia's growing prominence in the global beauty industry and its ability to connect with consumers through innovative products and effective marketing strategies. The company's commitment to expanding its global footprint suggests a promising future for the brand.
